I have always had an interest for garment construction, tailoring and pattern making, and started sewing at a young age. At the Willem de Kooning academy I learned how translate my ideas and designs into patterns and garments. Over the years I have gained further knowledge in this field by taking several classes and courses. I have done tailoring jobs for everyday clothing, as well as for theater and performance costumes. Currently I work in a sewing studio focussing on clothing repairs and upcycling garments.
